And of course we visited the all time famous Barcelona food market, La Boqueria. I LOVE that place. So exciting, with lovely display of very fresh fruits, flowers, and fish market.
Since
jamón de bellota are everywhere, we thought we must try these black-footed pigs. Along with an order of old cheddar cheese, the combine flavour was divine. After about the third bite, the greasiness took it toll and we almost couldn't finish them. Thanks for trying.
A big long line up at this restaurant. By the time we wanted to inquire about the food, the owner said "sorry we close sorry we close". We check our watch, and it read 3:50 pm. So we thought it was a nap time or something, and so we asked what time they reopen that night. And of course, they are done for the day. Luckily, we did get to go back on the last day before we left for France. :)
Daddy ordered a Pineapple and coconut drink and was delicious. In comparison, my lime and mint was not as good. We were impressed how the straws have the name of the store engraved on them. And apparently if you go closer to the end of the day, the fresh fruit drinks go on sale for 1 Euro.
